Curious about what your dreams mean? It is impossible not to dream.

Every single person, all around the world, dream while they are asleep, for minimum 90 minutes. Dreams have always been a topic of mystery among people. Some dreams are straightforward; they are the exact replica of what you are thinking, or were thinking, or of what’s going on in your life. But some dreams are not that easy to decipher. They just do not make sense (for me, that is most of the times). The concept of dreams becomes even more intriguing when it is realized that people across the world have similar dreams. Here are some very common dreams and their meanings.

Falling dream

It is a very common dream. Feeling yourself falling while you are dreaming means that you are trying to hold on to a situation too tightly in your real life, but you don’t have to. If that is so, you should let it go, and let the chips fall where they may.

Being trapped

Unable to open a seat belt, being a room with a locked door, etc, often means you need to make a change of some kind, like a new job or ending a cruddy relationship. You could just need a vacation to reset your mind.

If you are flying in your dream, then that means that you have liberated yourself of a thing that has been weighing you down. It also tells us how much control we have over our lives, depending upon how effectively or poorly the flying is handled.

Dreaming that your spouse is cheating doesn’t actually indicate they’re cheating. It’s not a “sign.” It’s not your subconscious tying together “clues.” It usually just means they’re focusing a lot of time and energy on something that isn’t you and doesn’t involve you, and you’re a bit jealous. It could, sometimes, mean that you don’t trust them as well.
